Queensville is getting a brand new park along Walter English Drive! This park is set to be completed by the end of 2018. Construction has already begun, and we’re excited to tell you about all the amazing features the people of Queensville will be able to enjoy!
First of all, this community park will be fun and accessible to people of all ages! It will feature not just one, but two playgrounds! The Junior Playground will be right next to the Senior Playground, and each will feature equipment respectively suited for little and big kids alike! Parents taking their kids to this park will be able to enjoy abundant and comfortable seating while their young ones entertain themselves on the newly built equipment.
However, that’s far from all this park will have to offer. In addition to two sets of playgrounds, the park will also include a full seating/gathering area under a wide shelter! It’s the perfect spot for escaping the Sun’s rays on those sweltering hot summer days. It will provide ample space to enjoy time with friends, and allows for packed lunches and picnics to be enjoyed as well.
Aside from these familiar park features visitors will also be able to use the kid-friendly zip-line! Perfectly safe and low to the ground, this zip-line will give kids a grand feeling of exhilaration as they zip down, then rush back to the start to do it all again. The kids will love how much fun it is, and you, as the parent, will love how much exercise they’re getting!
In addition to all these incredible benefits, the park will also include wide-open areas for walking and running around. Speaking of running around, park-goers will be able to take advantage of a full soccer field, complete with mini-pitches for young kids to hone their striking skills!
