The Sharon Classic Car Show

This Saturday, August 31st from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the East Gwillimbury Community Centre you can enjoy a free classic car show! Everyone is welcome whether you be a car collector wanting to show off your ride, or an interested car enthusiast who appreciates the finer side of chrome and horsepower, you’ll find plenty to love at the Sharon Classic Car Show.

Come to browse, come to gawk, or come just to socialize, it’s bound to be a highly fun time no matter your motivation. 


Fun Up at Lake Simcoe

No list of Labour Day fun would be complete without mentioning this gorgeous and pre-eminent attraction. Not only is it one of Ontario’s finest bodies of fresh water, but it’s also a good time waiting to happen that’s practically right in your backyard. 

Lake Simcoe can provide you with endless hours of fishing, swimming, boating, or just calm serenity as you gaze longingly at the waves. As one of East Gwillimbury’s most visited attractions, Lake Simcoe is the perfect place in which to spend some time this September long weekend.


The Newmarket Farmers’ Market

Head on over to the Newmarket Farmers’ Market tomorrow to find farm-fresh produce, baked goods, hand-made crafts and tour a selection of some of the best items your local Ontario has to offer. Starting at 8:00 AM and running until 1:00 PM, you’ll find this quaint gathering of farmers at 200 Doug Duncan Drive.

So grab your friends and grab your family and spend some time among the freshest produce you’re likely to find anywhere.


Explore the Local Trails

The area of East Gwillimbury features an expansive network of trails and paths to explore. They’re great for hiking, biking and all other motive pursuits. Plan your trip to include a picnic lunch or arrange for your trek to end at a beach or gorgeous sunset - the choice is yours.
